| Blue and Gold Macaws are the same size as
Scarlets, but their coloration is drastically different. As
their name implies, they are blue and gold in color. The front
of the blue and gold Macaw is yellow, while the entire rear
of the is blue. General plumage is rich blue. The forehead
is green. Bare lores and cheek area are whitish, and traversed
with several black feather-lines joining at black throat area.
Ear-coverts, sides of throat, upper breast, abdomen, under
tail-coverts and under wing-coverts are orange-yellow. Tail
upperside is blue, and underside is olive-yellow. Bill is
blackish. Iris is pale yellowish, and feet are dark grey.

are the clowns of the Macaw world. They are very outgoing,
intelligent, playful, and wonderful companions. However, they
are most likely to test their owners and their boundaries.
They are most often seen in bird shows due to their intelligence,

all members of the family, along with properly established
rules, they are most likely to remain gentle to everyone.
