This Conure is known as Aratinga finschi |

| This Conure is smaller (11 inches) than
the Mitred and not as beautiful. It has a green body with
red on it's forehead, horn-colored mandibles and a pronounced
white ring around the eye. The immature have a dark iris and
lack the red on the forehead.
This bird originates in Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama
but is not readily available to the bird fancier. Finsch Conures
make an excellent pet, being both lovable and easily trained.
